PERANCANGAN APLIKASI PERPUSTAKAAN BERBASIS MOBILE DENGAN LAYANAN FAQ MENGGUNAKAN CHATBOT

Abstract

This research discusses the development of a mobile-based library application equipped with an FAQ chatbot service aimed at improving library management efficiency at SMA Negeri 2 Tumijajar. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method, this application is designed to allow users to quickly and efficiently access library services, such as book search, borrowing, and returning. Additionally, the FAQ chatbot service is designed to automatically respond to common questions, reducing reliance on library staff. Testing involving library staff and students indicates that this application is user-friendly, with an intuitive interface and functional features across various devices. This research concludes that the application positively impacts library management and information service efficiency, with recommendations for further optimization of chatbot algorithms and device dependency.
