Abstract

Data is a very important thing and becomes an inseparable need from the company. Le Kahve, one of the companies engaged in the food & beverage sector as a coffee shop, has problems in analyzing transaction data, compiling business reports, and identifying sales patterns. Inadequate data processing companies have difficulty in making decisions. Implementation of Business Intelligence technology with the OLAP method is a solution to this problem. This research aims to evaluate how Business Intelligence and OLAP can be used to make decisions in improving sales strategies. The software used in this data processing is Pentaho and Mondrian OLAP. The results of this study indicate that the application of business intelligence is efficient and effective to use, with visualization dashboards that are presented interactively can make it easier to see overall sales performance, making it easier to make relevant decisions to improve sales strategies.
