THE EFFECT OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP AND WORK CULTURE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION AT THE PASURUAN REGENCY SECRETARIAT

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Servant Leadership and Work Culture on the Employee Performance of the Regional Secretariat of Pasuruan Regency, both directly and through the mediating variable of Job Satisfaction. The population in this research consists of all employees of the Regional Secretariat of Pasuruan Regency, totaling 63 individuals. Due to the relatively small population size, this study employed a census method in which the entire population was used as the research sample. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that: (1) Servant Leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, (2) Work Culture has a positive effect on employee performance, (3) Servant Leadership positively influences employee performance through Job Satisfaction, and (4) Work Culture has a positive effect on employee performance through Job Satisfaction. These findings confirm that the implementation of servant-based leadership and a conducive work culture can improve employee performance both directly and indirectly through increased job satisfaction.
