ANALISIS PENERAPAN PRINSIP-PRINSIP KOPERASI DALAM PENGUATAN STRUKTUR EKONOMI ANGGOTA DI ERA EKONOMI DIGITAL

Abstract

The development of the digital economy presents new opportunities and challenges for cooperatives as a pillar of people's economy. This study aims to analyze how the application of cooperative principles can strengthen the economic structure of members amidst the digitalization process. The method used is a literature study, examining various academic sources and research findings related to cooperative digitalization in Indonesia. The analysis results indicate that the application of cooperative principles—such as voluntary membership, democratic participation, member education, and inter-cooperative cooperation—remains relevant in the digital era, but requires reinterpretation within the context of technological transformation. Digitalization enables increased efficiency, transparency, and expanded market access through the integration of financial technology and online platforms. However, the success of this implementation depends on the digital literacy of members, infrastructure readiness, and government policy support. By harmonizing core cooperative values and digital innovation, cooperatives have the potential to become a sustainable, adaptive, and member-welfare-oriented model of inclusive economy.
