PENERAPAN METODE ADDITIVE RATIO ASSESSMENT PADA PEMILIHAN JASA KIRIM LOGISTIK PRODUK MAKANAN
Abstract
PT Perkasa Jaya is a frozen food distribution company in Riau Province that requires cold chain logistics services to ensure product quality is maintained during the distribution process to various regions in Sumatra. Selecting the right logistics vendor is a crucial factor in supporting a smooth supply chain, but this process is often complex because it involves many criteria such as timeliness, fleet quality, cost, service capacity, and distribution reach. To assist objective decision making, this decision support system research uses the ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) method, which assesses alternatives based on a process of normalization, weighting, and calculating utility values (Ki) to determine the level of closeness of each vendor to the ideal condition. The analysis results show that Vendor 3 (V3) has the highest utility value of 0.977, making it the main recommendation as a cold chain logistics service provider for PT Perkasa Jaya, followed by V5 with a value of 0.976 in second place. Meanwhile, V9 obtained the lowest utility value of 0.685 and is the least recommended alternative.
