PENERAPAN METODE ARAS UNTUK PEMILIHAN PETANI BERPRESTASI DI KECAMATAN BILAH HULU DENGAN PEMBOBOTAN RANK ORDER CENTROID
Abstract
The assessment of outstanding farmers in Bilah Hulu District requires an objective, measurable evaluation given the diverse criteria involved, including production efficiency, farming practices, innovation, environmental stewardship, and digital literacy. This study employs the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method, combined with Rank Order Centroid (ROC) weighting, to identify the best-performing farmers through a multi-criteria analysis. Five farmer candidates were evaluated according to predetermined criteria. Data were obtained through field observations and structured interviews with agricultural extension officers. The ARAS method was used to normalize decision matrices, assign weights, and compute utility values for each candidate. The results show that Farmer A2 achieved the highest utility score (K₂ = 1.0000), making him the top-ranked outstanding farmer in Bilah Hulu District. The ranking order obtained is A2, A5, A4, A1, and A3. The application of ARAS with ROC weighting provides a transparent and systematic decision-making approach, proving effective for multi-criteria assessments in the agricultural sector.
