SISTEM PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL BERBASIS FLIPBOOK GUNA MENSTIMULASI MINAT BACA MAHASISWA
Abstract
The primary issue addressed in this study is the low reading interest among students, attributed to the static and monotonous PDF-based digital collection display at the ISB Atma Luhur library. This research aims to develop a digital library system based on flipbook technology to provide a more interactive reading experience. The system is designed as a complementary platform that enhances the presentation layer of existing digital library services without disrupting current administrative workflows. This approach emphasizes user experience optimization as a strategic effort to stimulate digital reading engagement among students. The method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation). The findings indicate that the system successfully transforms static PDFs into interactive flipbooks equipped with navigation and multimedia features. Based on Black-box testing, the system was declared 100% functional, while the User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving 20 respondents yielded a satisfaction rate of 85% (Very Good category). It is concluded that the system is technically feasible and effective as a supplementary platform to stimulate student reading interest.
