ANALISIS DATA TRANSAKSI PENJUALAN OBAT UNTUK MENGETAHUI POLA PEMBELIAN KONSUMEN MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA APRIORI

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer purchasing patterns at Apotek Soya to address operational issues related to product arrangement and stock management that have not been optimally supported by transaction data utilization. The proposed approach applies Association Rule Mining using the Apriori algorithm within the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) framework, encompassing data selection, preprocessing, transformation, and mining. The dataset consists of 10,000 sales transactions recorded from January to April 2025 and processed using Google Colab. By applying a minimum support of 0.02 and a minimum confidence of 0.5, three significant association rules were identified. The strongest rule indicates a positive association between hormone medicine and vitamins, with a support value of 0.0217, confidence of 0.850, and lift of 1.216, showing that vitamins frequently function as complementary products. Other rules involving herbal and fever medicine demonstrate weaker associations. The findings provide data-driven insights that can be utilized to support product placement strategies, bundling, cross-selling, and stock optimization, thereby improving sales performance and operational efficiency at Apotek Soya.
